Role Overview
As a Heavy Truck Driver (Lowbed and Flatbed Trailers), you will be responsible for the transportation of various loads using lowbed and flatbed trucks. As part of our team in Saudi Arabia, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, playing a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. The position requires adaptability due to changing schedules and extended travel times.
Responsibilities
- Transport heavy equipment and materials using flatbed and lowbed trailers as assigned.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to company and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site workers, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Adapt to varying schedules, overnight stays, and long-distance hauls as required.
Must have requirements
- Valid heavy truck driving license.
- Demonstrated safe driving record.
- Flexibility to work long hours and adapt to changing routes or schedules.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as securing loads, climbing, and inspecting vehicles.
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and completing delivery documentation.
Nice to have requirements
- Prior experience operating lowbed and flatbed trailers.
- Knowledge of load securement techniques for various cargo types.
- Familiarity with long-distance haulage and overland routes within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
- Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
